Another Good Samaritan

I want to nominate an incredible ‘neighbour’. She is my colleague. She is always trying to connect our staff together by creating and celebrating the positive happenings in our workplace.

The people she works with are encouraged to do their best every day, and challenged with new opportunities.

She is the unsung hero, most people wouldn’t know that she comes in every morning early, and cleans out the dishwasher every day, just because she is a team player. She is a leader in many ways and takes extra time out of her days in order to make it great for the people she works with. 

For me, she has been an incredible help, offering to help with my workload, just so I could get some extra things done on my list. She has yes…even helped me move.  

She gave up her many storage containers so I could pack, but then on the messiest and craziest day of my move(and coldest…it was January), she came (never having been at my house before) and just helped incredibly. She wouldn’t even stay and eat the food we had to offer the people who were helping. She just did it to help me. 

If that is not all…today of all days, one of the longest work days we have, she (who normally walks to work) drove out of her way to go and grab me a tea. 

Wow, what a woman. I am humbled by her servant heart, her team spirit, and her willingness to help others.
