If you’re at the Grande Prairie Airport on Thursday (Sept 8), don’t be alarmed if you see a flurry of emergency response activity. The Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership (GPREP) has scheduled an exercise involving a disaster scenario at the airport and a secondary situation on Range Road 71 to provide a training opportunity for the implementation of the Regional Emergency Management Plan. The Airport will remain open during the exercise and no flights are being disrupted.
