Interstellar Travel?

The U-S government is looking well into the future as it considers ways to send people to a star. Officials say 150 private sector competitors have responded to a call for proposals for interstellar travel. The competition is the first step in a 100-year project called the Starship Study, dreamed up by the Pentagon's research agency. The company or organization with a winning proposal will receive half a (m) million dollars.
