Our Hospital is Named After Her

She visited our city for the sod turning ceremony for our current hospital back in 1978 and she's celebrating today. Queen Elizabeth the Second is marking her 84th birthday with a quiet day with her husband, Prince Philip, at Windsor Castle. The Queen marks her birthday twice a year -- privately on her actual birthday, and officially with the ``Trooping the Color'' ceremony that is traditionally held in June. The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery will fire a 41-gun salute at noon London time in Hyde Park, and an hour later, a second salute will be fired from the Tower of London.
