Terry Fox Run Sept 19th

The Terry Fox Run will be held at Muskoseepi Park in Grande Prairie on Sunday, September 19, 2010. The run, which is hosted by the Swan City Rotary Club, commences at noon, with registration starting at 10:00 am at the Muskoseepi Park Pavilion. Participants can also register online at www.terryfox.org.

Inspired by Terry’s dream, and now grounded in 30 years of tradition, the Terry Fox run is volunteer driven. There is no entry fee and there is no minimum pledge. Anyone who wishes to participate can come out and walk, run or ride 10 kilometers on September 19, 2010.

Pledge forms can be obtained online at www.terryfox.org and all funds raised will go to the Terry Fox Foundation, which is responsible for funding close to $20 million in discovery based cancer research in Canada each year. For information on the run in Grande Prairie, please call (780) 882-3797.
