Winter is Back!

With Grande Prairie's first noticeable snowfall of the season, Grande Prairie RCMP received 18 reported traffic collisions between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 pm yesterday (Nov 14).  Not all were weather related however, as reports of a hit and run and a collision with a deer were also reported.  Other collisions include multi-vehicle incidents, a single vehicle rollover, and vehicles sliding off roadways.   Police are reminding us to slow down, leave room between you and the vehicle ahead of you, and adjust your driving behaviours to meet the changing environmental and road conditions.  Sand and salt trucks are working on the City streets.
