Food Bank Drive A Success!

140,000 items were collected during this week's Rotary Food Bank Drive! Almost 30 percent more from last year’s collection. Around 600 volunteers participated in the 2 day event, which was billed as the largest food bank drive of it’s kind in Canada. Major Sue Fuller from the Salvation Army says the drive is crucial in helping the food bank get through Christmas, and applauds the volunteers who made the drive successful.
