On Sunday September 11th 2011 the Grande Prairie Fire Fighters Association and the Grande Prairie Fire Dept will be recognizing Fire Fighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice. This year’s ceremony is especially important as it marks the tenth anniversary of the events that transpired on September 11th 2001. A day of recognition honouring our fallen heroes and their loved ones who gave so much on that day will take place at Eagar Station on resources road. The ceremony will start at 10:00am and end at approximately 10:45. There will be refreshments and visual displays after the ceremony. All members of the community are welcome to attend.
