My Twins are Nine today!!
As a mom of "twins" it can be hectic at times, but I thank my lucky stars that they are healthy and happy and woohoo both my husband and I made it to thier 9th birthday so far. I think back of the last 9 years, and wow, they are developing into 2 smart girls, that I'm very proud of :-) If your a parent of mulitples or even 1 child it can be very demanding and rewarding at the same time. I thank God everyday that I have my children!!
You know when you’re a parent when….You’ve felt a pea being pushed into your ear for the first time since you were a toddler. The phrase “aww that’s so cute” has been replaced with “Hey! NO! Stop Doing that!” What is yours… is theirs. And this means no longer yours until they decide to discard it. At this point (if not destroyed) it is yours until they see / hear / sense that you have it again, at which time, once more it will no longer be yours.A little voice calls out a tongue tied half whisper of “mum mum?” and you fall in love all over again each and every time.
You spend your afternoons together paying very close attention to pointing out everyones nose. There is Strawberry Shortcake’s nose, there is Dora’s nose..
